CRS Engineering is about to embark on a standardised range of Heat-pipe processor coolers to fit standard Desktop PCs. The first prototype coolers in the Arctic-70 range are expected to be available early next year. So far qualification tests are being carried out on several top range conventional fan cooled copper heat sinks to bench mark performance under identical simulated conditions. The first Arctic-70 coolers available will be for for use with Pentium P4 and Athlon processors, comparative measurements being made with the prototype version of the Arctic-70 Heat-pipe system look seriously encouraging......
